Introduction to Tinitus

Tinitus is a disease of the ear. The ear hears some noise which is not external but is there in the perception of the hearer. The affected ears can be one of the two or in some cases both the ears. The area from where the disorder originates is the brain area. The sound which is heard is the ringing noise which takes any form like the whining or the hissing or the humming noise. The noise is pulsating in nature and sometimes is like the sound of the waves.

Tinnitus is caused because of ear infection or because of entry of foreign object in the ear. Hence Tinitus is not a disease and sometimes is caused because of ill effects of preventive drugs prescribed for other health problems. Tinnitus is also caused by imbalances in the sugar level or because of high and low blood presure problems.

However small decibels of sound is generally heard and hence that is not the case of Tinitus. When the sound frequency is of higher range then only it is referred to as Tinnitus. The pulsating sound that is heard causes difficulties in the normal working of an individual and even causes sleep disorders. An audio tracker gives details of the sound type and other such information. The reason for the rapid growth of the disease is considered by some as industrialization. It is because of the growth of industries that the sound level has increased radically and even lots of foreign objects are suspended in the air because of it.
